Reverse Osmosis

RO is a water purification process that uses a partially permeable membrane to separate ions, unwanted molecules, and larger particles from water.  RO is capable of removing both heavy metals and biological contaminates from water.  Reverse osmosis can remove particles as small as 0.001 microns from water.

Filtration

Water filtration removes sediment and chlorine from water. Filtration can be used with any water - including well water and tap water. They have the advantage of being easy to install and maintain. Filters can remove particles as small as 0.5 microns in size from water.

Deionization Tanks

Mixed Bed is one deionization method that is usually used in conjunction with other processes to add another layer of water treatment.  Mixed beds are used when superior water quality is needed.

Ozone Units

Available in 3 sizes (4, 6, & 8 cell).  Ozone is a widely recognized way to purify water in a natural environmentally friendly way.  It has been proven to kill mold, pathogens, viruses, and bacteria. Additionally, ozone is used to improve taste, eliminate odor, oxidize metals, and remove hydrogen sulfide.  It is a low cost, effective way to improve your water quickly and easily without chemicals.

Softening

Water softening is the process of removing the dissolved calcium and magnesium salts that cause hardness in water.  The main advantage of softened water is that it will not form insoluble scale or precipitates in pipes and tanks or interfere with cleaners such as soap.

Granular Activated Carbon

GAC is most commonly used to reduce undesirable taste, odor, and color and to improve the safety of drinking water.  These units effectively remove disinfection byproducts (THMs), organic contaminants, industrial pollutants, pesticides, and select heavy metals.
